Air Fryer Garlic Fries

garlic fries on a white plate

Today for lunch I really wanted fries so I decided to experiment with the air fryer to see if I could create my own version of garlic fries. I’m pretty proud to say that they turned out so GOOD! I thought I’d write up a quick little blog post to share how I did it if anyone else wanted to try them out.

Air Fryer Garlic Fries

Ingredients

  • 2 Medium Potatoes (peeled and sliced into 1/4 inch pieces)
  • 1.5 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 6 Garlic Cloves (minced)
  • Trader Joe's Onion Salt
  • Salt & Pepper

Instructions

  1. Place your cut potato slices in a mixing bowl and add the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and onion salt. There are no set amounts for seasoning, just use what you prefer.

  2. Set the air fryer to 400º for 20 minutes and add your potatoes

  3. Stir your fries around twice during the cooking process so they get good and crispy on all sides

Recipe Notes

  • Crispiness is up to you! If the fries aren’t as crisp as you like them when the time is up you can always add a little additional cook time.
  • Experiment with seasonings and if you don’t like garlic you can leave it off and just have regular fries!
