Treats & Food I Feed My Dogs – 2020

I get questions every week on Aysia and Lollypop’s social media accounts from followers asking which food and treats they eat. I’ve shared photos and links to those who have asked, but I thought I would share a blog post with all of the info for anyone else who may be interested. I’m pretty particular about what they eat. I prefer treats and food made in the USA and with limited ingredients.
The food they eat is Stella and Chewy’s freeze dried chicken patties which they prefer dry and broken up in small pieces. In all honesty, Lollypop doesn’t really eat this too often, she prefers home cooked food. I usually end up fixing Lollypop a morning home cooked meal in addition to the home cooked evening meal that they always get. Aysia on the other hand LOVES this food and sometimes she prefers it over the home cooked meal.

These CocoTherapy Pure Hearts in Banana Brûlée and Pina Colada are special treats that they only get at night after Lollypop takes her medications although they would prefer to have them more than just once a day.

I use these CocoTherapy Coco Charms in Blueberry Cobbler and Pumpkin Pie because they are only 1 calorie a piece!

These Grandma Lucy’s cookies remind me of big teddy graham cookies! Since they are larger cookies, I break them in half so not only do they last longer but it’s less calories too. Their favorite flavors are blueberry, cranberry, and pumpkin.

Their absolute favorite treats ever are these Pure Bites freeze dried chicken and liver treats. They go crazy for them and I save all of the crumbs to sprinkle over their food as a special little treat. Sometimes the pieces can be large so I do use a knife to cut them into smaller pieces if needed.

I first found these Primal Turkey Nibs treats at a local pet boutique and they are also great for training because they are very tiny. The only downside with these is that they have to be eaten within 14 days of opening the bag and it’s recommended that they be kept in the refrigerator.

These Sojos treats in beef, turkey, and lamb are also freeze dried treats. They are usually smaller pieces so I don’t have to cut them up and I save the crumbs from these too to use as a food topper.

Stella & Chewy’s Wild Weenies in chicken and beef are very similar to the freeze dried food. Even though Lollypop doesn’t always eat the food, she gobbles these up every time. they come in six different flavors and I cut each weenie into three pieces to make them bite sized for little mouths and to cut down the calories.

These Whole Life pumpkin and berry treats have probiotics in them! They are wafer style treats that remind me of yogurt bite snacks for babies. Each wafer is about the size of a quarter and they break really easily so I can give them a whole wafer but I usually cut them into fourths to make them last longer.

If you want to follow the pups social media accounts you can find Aysia on Instagram here and Facebook here and Lollypop on Instagram here and Facebook here. Lollypop doesn’t have photos posted too often because she isn’t the biggest fan of the camera and I never force them to take pictures. Aysia on the other hand is a camera bug and will do absolutely anything for a treat!
